The aim of the exercise is 6 different maps and aerial photos that are not geo-referenced display geo-referenced using the given coordinates in ArcGIS.

After the cards have been printed as a PDF file, it was the next step is to store the images with a graphics program.

georeferenziet One way to load the maps in ArcGIS is to create a world file. This file consists of 6 different lines.

2 + 3. Line: rotation values that are needed not only for images entzerten
4th Row: 1 Line: Specifies the height of a pixel in meters to [calculate: ("upper" high-value minus "lower" high-value) by pixel height of the image]
5th Line: easting the center of the pixel in the upper left corner of the image [calculation: "left" legal value plus half the pixel width] 6
Line: High value of the center of the pixel in the upper left corner of the image [calculation: "upper" high value minus half the pixel height]

The created world file is stored under the same name as the corresponding map. Legend the file extension is different. In the case of a *. jpg-*. This is based jgw.

After all the world file if created, may be in the cards ArcGis on "Add Data" is added.
