... a day trip!
A somewhat longer planned Kurztip to Italy was once again a success. For 6 years I've probably once a year on a Saturday set on the train and am sometimes very shortly after Italy, more precisely to "Domodossola" driven. Earlier, before the Lötschberg tunnel had been built, we had an hour longer than yesterday - it takes current from Bern only 1h45min yet to taste a little Italian air.
My best friend and I and our two friends, mothers went so thick yesterday, once again to Domodossola. After buying sandwiches, coffee and croissants we boarded the train in Bern, which drove off at 07:34 - and 9:12 we had arrived in the small northern Italian town.
After an Italian cappuccino and pee-break - after the bladder had emptied before a marathon, shopping - we started the tour of the city, which is located in the historic "Ossola valley.

Continue a few blocks and we stroll through the streets of the pretty Italian town and admire the variety of colors and the wide range - from cheap clothes and hammer over moderately cheap and horrible and expensive to tussig, bags in all colors and sizes, leather and plastic belts, scarves in all fabrics and colors of summer and winter shoes, household junk at prices of 30 cents, fragrant cheese, sausage, pasta and fish stands (of course with the opportunity to taste the delicacies !).... In the streets, it is quite cold in the shade - after all, is only the beginning of March. The waiting for friends and family, people find the sunny spots and can be the face (and feet!) Warm.
... are quick last three hours and we go fully loaded and a few Euros lighter towards the station - there are in fact still various clothes, food and accessory shops. Also there can still be bought - and just two clock in the afternoon to report to the stomach and points us toward pizzeria. Since all of these years we calm our stomachs in a volume of a restaurant near the station.
